Project Assistant - Working on the production side of a project gave Hannah the insight and understanding of the design process and development from initial design concept, manufacture and to the final delivery to the client.
Hannah now understands the importance of deadlines, tracking and documentation processes. Hannah has extended her initial knowledge (from a previous role) of different hard material manufacturing processes including but not limited to; 3D modelling, sculpting, casting, moulding, painting and 3D printing technologies.
This experience helped her to integrate textile design, costume construction, and sportswear development work together to see an overview of the bigger picture of developing ideas to reality. Hannah now understands the vital relationship between budgeting, material and technical knowledge, the people involved, processes and organisation involved in developing costume and props for film.
